Althof Associates

Tim Althof is an Independent consultant with extensive company experience across multiple industries. He has had broad business and operating responsibility in international public and private companies. Most recently he was CFO of Grand Circle Corporation in Boston. Earlier career experience includes New England Business Service a NYSE traded company where he was a corporate officer and Vice President in the capacities of Controller, Treasurer, and Investor Relations Officer. Tim has an MBA from the University of Colorado and lives in Hampton, NH with his wife Sue, and enjoys kayaking, hiking, and skiing.

Rudy Bazelmans, Regional Director

Expense Reduction Analysts

Rudy Bazelmans is a Regional Director for Expense Reduction Analysts, a world-wide cost reduction firm that helps reduce client expenses in \ areas such as freight, office supplies, telecom, packaging and over 20 other categories using category experts from around the country. Rudy manages client engagements in the Boston Metro area.

Prior to joining Expense Reduction Analysts, Rudy managed the North American Auto-Attendant Operations team for Nuance Communications. Prior to Nuance, Rudy managed national consulting practices and engineering groups for Aspect Communications, Voicetek, Digital Equipment Corporation , HP and others. Rudy has a Bachelors in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters of Software Engineering from Boston University. Rudy is a frequent public speaker and has numerous published articles.

Paul Becker, CPA

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting

Paul Becker is the “B” in KBW. After starting his career in public accounting, he turned his expertise to recruiting accounting and financial professionals for an international staffing firm. After leaving an international staffing firm, Paul partnered with two other talented industry professionals—Jason Kroll and Gary Wing—to form KBW in 2005. Following the success of KBW, they’ve since added three sister companies to the BANKW family: The Alexander Technology Group, The Nagler Group, and Sales Search Partners. Now over 13 years in, Paul is proud of his team and considers them part of his family.

Megan Callan, Senior Director of SEC Reporting

Megan Callan is a senior business professional with 20+ years of experience in major publicly traded corporations and nonprofits. She is currently the Senior Director of SEC Reporting at Bottomline Technologies, a provider of financial technology and payment solutions for companies and banks. Prior to that Megan held the position of Corporate Controller at Nashua Corporation, a $300 million manufacturing company. Megan’s background includes responsibility for all major areas of finance including financial and strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, Sarbanes Oxley internal control compliance and both internal and external reporting. She is the treasurer of a NH non-profit organization and holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting from Siena College.

Kate Hartnett is a result-driven executive with 20 years of experience in numerous financial and accounting leadership roles with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement and financial excellence. Kate provides strategic and operational leadership by overseeing financial, accounting and business intelligence functions at GOBI Library Solutions (formerly YBP), EBSCO Company. Kate’s background includes strategic planning, controllership, enterprise reporting, technology and business operations. Kate is a licensed CPA.

Reed Malleck, CFO

Avidyne

Reed Malleck is an Engagement Partner at Tatum, a Randstad Company. In this capacity he performs interim CFO/COO assignments and project work for mid-market companies. From 2008 to 2013 he was CFO of Avidyne Corporation, a maker of avionics systems for light aircraft. He was initially placed into that position via a previous incarnation of Tatum (Tatum LLC), where he had been a Partner since 2007. Prior to Tatum, he was Vice President of Finance and Operations for Healthwyse, LLC, a provider of integrated clinical and financial information systems for homecare and hospice providers. From 2002 to 2006, Mr. Malleck was co-founder, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Radianse, Inc., a developer and marketer of RTLS (Real-Time Location Systems) for acute care settings. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Malleck served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of GE Medical Systems Navigation and Visualization Inc. (formerly Visualization Technology, Inc.). Mr. Malleck held various senior operational and financial positions in several business units/geographies of Hewlett-Packard from 1978 to 2000. Mr. Malleck holds a B.S. in Finance and an MBA from the University of Colorado.

John Parsons, CFO

Measured Progress

John Parsons is CFO with New Hampshire based Measured Progress, a technology focused mid-market company serving education markets nationwide. During his 30-year career, he has served in financial/operational leadership roles with privately held and public reporting, for-profit and non-profit companies, with common themes of growing both revenue and profit, leading through transitions, developing teams, balancing across key constituencies including clients, investors and boards of directors.

He specializes in operational EBITDA improvement, raising growth capital, M&A from due diligence through integration, managing liquidity, balancing strategic planning with operational execution. Before joining Measured Progress, John served as CFO of Nitrosecurity acquired in 2011 by Intel/McAfee, interim CFO of multiple clients as Partner with Tatum, CAO with mid-market RSA Security acquired in 2006 by EMC, finance/ M&A leader of the telecom business and General Manager of customer financing for Fortune 500 Agilent Technologies, and in multiple roles with Fortune 100 Hewlett-Packard.

John is an actively licensed CPA who started his career with Big 4 Deloitte. He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is also adjunct Professor of Finance at Rivier University in Nashua, NH.
